FAQ for first-timers
I don’t know my tension.
No need to guess. On the booking form, pick Low / Mid / High or Don’t know and we’ll confirm. Have a number in pounds? Type it in.
I don’t know which string to pick.
“Don’t know” is a fine answer — we’ll help. You can also browse our Diadem strings or toptennisstrings.com.
What do Low, Mid and High mean?
Lower tension usually means more power and a softer feel. Higher tension usually means more control and a firmer response. More on Tension 101.
Is string included?
Yes — every base job includes Diadem, Solinco Hyper-G or Solinco Confidential, with no separate upcharge. Or bring a sealed / unopened set.
Can I bring my own string?
Yes, if the package is sealed / unopened. No rush jobs with customer (BYO) string.
Do you string natural gut?
No, we don’t string natural gut.
What if my frame is cracked?
We can’t string cracked frames. If you’re not sure, note it on the form.
How does pricing work?
Drop-off + pick-up, 24 hours, string included: public $35 / members $25 (enter your member code at booking) / past $30 (enter your welcome-back code at booking). Round-trip $55 / $45 / $50. One-way +$12. Extra rackets $20–$25. 6-hour rush +$20 (check with Cole first). BYO sealed $25. Ask Cole for your code. See service options & add-on pricing.
